Jason Wu, best known for designing First Lady Michelle Obama’s Inaugural Ball gown, has teamed up with Target for another much anticipated diffusion line to be released on Sunday, February 5th. As much as we covet haute couture, the average gal realistically isn’t going to shell out thousands of dollars on a handbag and a pair of shoes. These collaborations allow us to have a taste of the runway without breaking the bank. Jason Wu’s line is no different. With clothing and accessories ranging from $20 to $60, we can all have a little piece of Wu in our closets. Well, not all, but many. The line is being released in limited quantities online and in select stores. Check with your local Target stores (yes, I meant that to be plural, because you may have to go to more than one to find what you’re looking for) to see if they will be carrying the collection and prepare to get there early. If this release is anything like Missoni’s release back in September, then expect the retailer to be sold out within hours.
